Famous Comic Sans logos
well not quite. I wrote here about comic sans and it's use in graphic design or rather how it should probably never be used by a graphic designer in any professional work. But here Graphic Designer Oleg Tarasov has made a great job of 'taking the mickey' by rendering a handful of world famous brands adapting the hideous scrawl. I think this illustrated the point that it is a font for fun (just for kids, no grown up should consider using it of course) and not for world domination. I love all of these examples and how Oleg has paired the font with losly rendered sketches of the brands icon.
you can see many more of Oleg's comic sans logos here. I am sure t was a fun exercise for him and he has certainly done a great job making the logos look somehow cool. Don't take that as a green light to go and use comic sans willy nilly, it remains banned for any one who should know better 😉 more reading on the comic sans saga on the BBC website
