This logo design was for the High End Audio manufacturer Audiaurum, creating hand built high end audio equipment here in Germany. The client approached me looking for a simple yet professional solution and on the way we created a number of very fitting logos. I enjoyed this project very much as the client allowed me to go off in my own direction and in the end we came to a conclusion which we were both very happy with. The fonts used in the final logo, were actually suggested by the client, who as it happens had a good understanding of typography and wanted to move away from the standard non serif fonts.
This version was subconsciously inspired by the Simple Minds logo below, unfortunately, I couldn’t find the designers name online.
Logo taking direction now. Here and example of how it works in the reverse.
The first renderings after initial client meeting. We used John Sans, light Pro and Medium Pro in the end although we had to play around with the kerning to get it right.
For the brochure we created an 8 panel A5 roll fold to keep the content alive which looking at it from any angle. The final brochure was printed on Mohawk Extra Rough stock in 175 g/m² weight which was a perfect underlay for the 0.5 pixel Pantone gold line which we carried across all pages to give it that touch of class. Once again both the client and myself were chuffed with the outcome. I will create some studio pictures of both the business cards and the brochure and upload them soon but for now I have a few pictures of the layouts as artwork files.
